With this aim in mind, the tie you see before you is as unique as can be – only two have been produced, entirely by hand, in Drake’s fabled East End tie making workshop.
The fabric selected is a vintage olive, ochre, silver and blue checked grenadine - the likes of which one simply can't get hold of nowadays, based on a quirky 1920s check favoured by Edward VII. As with all our ties, this has been beautifully handmade featuring Drake’s signature handrolled tips and delicate slip-stitch, ideal for creating the perfect knot.
The tie’s construction lends a subtle roll to the blade itself for a rich drape. It is finished with a keeper loop. It measures 147cms long by 8cms wide at its broadest point.
